Lee McKinney has been the Lead Pastor at NCF since Nov. 2007. Pastor Lee and his family were part of the initial group who started New Covenant Fellowship (NCF) in Southern Pines, NC in April of 2001. NCF has been through a lot of changes since then and so has Lee!
![]() ![]() Adam Love was hired in August 2009 as Associate Pastor of New Covenant Fellowship. Until 2004, Adam did not know the Lord, but his life was radically transformed in April of that year while enrolled in Teen Challenge, a ministry that helps people with life-controlling problems. He worked at Sandhills Teen Challenge for two and a half years, where he also completed his ministerial training with the Assemblies of God.
Adam is passionate about discipleship of church members and seeing the next generation trained in Godliness, living with a fire for God. He heads up the After School Program at New Covenant - a ministry that in just a short time has brought unchurched children and families into the house of God. Adam enjoys teaching, preaching scripture, and seeing lives transformed while at New Covenant and is excited about the growth of the kingdom. His faith is founded on the belief that one should "Live on Purpose" and make every moment count. Psalm 90:12 encapsulates this philosophy: "Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom." |
He is married to Nita, who is his wife of 25 years as of June 2009. They have two children Amber and Jessica. Lee is blessed to say that his entire family have surrendered their lives to Jesus and they all love Him dearly. Lee worked for UPS for 22 years before answering the call that the Lord had placed on his life to pastor the church. He was saved at age 11 but the fruits of his life during school and after did not reflect this. At age 27 however, the Lord beckoned Lee once again to Himself and gave him a hunger for His word which was bolstered by the Spirits desire for Lee to teach. He fully surrendered to the Lord, started teaching Sunday School at age 29, and has hungered for God's word for the past 17 years now.
